Sunday School

Our Cooperative Sunday School program was born from the frustrations of the Christian Education Departments of our individual churches: too few teachers, inconsistent attendance, etc. Together we are "many forming one body" and through the svlcm given us, we have developed a program that in total is greater than the sum of all of our parts!

This program focuses not only on teaching the Word to our children and adult members, but also on seeing God in our lives today, learning the history of God's family, and sharing the exciting knowledge that we are all children of God and part of His Family!

We use a lectionary-based curriculum so that both our worship services and our Sundy School classes have the same theme and lesson.

Through our offerings we supported several service projects during the 2003-2004 school year: The Heifer Project, Operation Christmas, Student Camperships and the Helping Hands Network of Waynesburg.
