Praise & Worship

In October of 2003, the Shepherd of the Valley began offering a Praise & Worship service the 2^nd and 4^th Sunday of the month.

At this service, the traditional liturgy is replaced by a more contemporary order of service. Contemporary Praise & Worship songs are used, and the words appear on a screen using a Power Point presentation. Piano and guitar are primarily used for accompaniment, but worship DVD's by Integrity are also used from time to time. These DVD's offer background music, words, and pictures to enhance the worship experience.

We are always looking for more musicians to add to our musical group. Specifically, we would like to add drums, more guitar, and violin. However, about any instrument can be added into the group. If you play and instrument and are interested in joining the praise & worship team, contact the church office.

Choir

Anyone can join the choir. The children's choir practices the 1^st and 3^rd Sundays of the month after the worship service. The adult choir practices the 2^nd and 4^th Sundays of the month after the worship servivce.
